Set on large and picturesque grounds that showcase the beauty of the Northern Rivers, our school provides an inspiring environment for learning and growth.

Our facilities include:

● Extensive sports fields for fitness, fun, and competition

● Outdoor learning areas – shaded spaces that provide a calm, natural setting for learning

● Specialist science laboratories for hands-on experiments and inquiry-based learning

● Hospitality kitchens and food & beverage facilities, including a barista training space

● Art and performance studios that support creative and expressive learning

● A dedicated library and senior study centre, with breakout rooms for small-group learning and video conferencing facilities

● Basketball, netball, futsal, pickleball, and tennis courts

Looking ahead, by 2026 Wollumbin High School will also feature:

● New purpose-built industrial arts classrooms, including welding and engineering workshops

● Enhanced music facilities, with breakout spaces, a recording studio, and a podcast room

● Upgraded classrooms throughout, all freshly painted, carpeted, air-conditioned, and fitted with energy-efficient LED lighting

Resources and technology

At Wollumbin High School, we embrace modern technology and digital learning tools to enhance teaching, learning, and creativity. Every student has access to a wide range of resources that support their studies and help them stay connected.

All Year 11 and 12 students are provided with a personal laptop and headphones, which they can take home to support their senior studies. Junior students also have access to laptops in every classroom, ensuring technology is embedded in all subjects. Each learning space is equipped with interactive smart boards and digital resources, creating engaging and dynamic lessons across the school.
