Gone, But Not Forgotten

Year 12 attended an emotional last day of school on Wednesday of Term 3. After 13 years of schooling they've earnt the right to shed a few tears and they've still got one very daunting task ahead - the HSC!

While they're hard at work studying now for the upcoming exams, they took a night off to celebrate their achievements at the Year 12 Formal. There were more tears and laughter as students aknowledged the parents and their teachers who helped them to get through their school years. They in turn were applauded for their efforts by the P&C, their peers and the Principal.

After six years of dedicated, intensive pastoral care, Year Advisor, Garry Shearman, decided to throw out his original, heartfelt speech in a cunning attempt to avoid weeping openly at the podium. He instead terrified the students with a sobering speech by Steve Jobs about their fragile mortality and impending deaths. Great choice Gaz!

Year 12, you have been a pleasure to teach and we wish you all the best for the HSC and your very bright futures.
