From mid to late 2022, Murwillumbah High School will need to move out of existing buildings to allow for the construction of the Murwillumbah Education Campus.
The project team are considering the best way to do this while maintaining the safety and wellbeing of students and minimising disruption to learning.
Over the coming weeks there will be consultation with key stakeholders including staff, student and parent representatives, to understand what is important when it comes to temporary accommodation of Murwillumbah High School.
That input will be used to inform the decision-making process.
Further information, including an opportunity for parents and carers to share their views, will be provided in early November 2021.
December 2020 Update
The NSW Department of Education is developing an education campus at the Murwillumbah High School site. The campus will include a primary school, a high school and school community health hub facilities co-located within an integrated, purpose designed and built education campus.
